Lawyer, Official Industrial Property Agent since 2007 and European Representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), he has a degree in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon).

He graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Lisbon in 1998. He is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2002. He joined the team at Gastão in 2020. He has attended several training courses in this area, including postgraduate courses in Intellectual Property and Information Society Law at the University of Lisbon Law School. During his professional career he has provided legal advice to national and international clients in the various fields of Industrial Property, Copyright and New Technologies.
He has also dedicated himself to representation in legal disputes, namely in cases of trademarks, design and patents, unfair competition, counterfeiting and copyright.
He is a member of MARQUES, where he integrates the European Trade Mark Law and Practice team, Portuguese Association of Intellectual Property Consultants (ACPI) and International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), within which he is a member of the board of the Portuguese group.
